What goes into a quote
- The diagnosis — what actually failed, not what it looked like from the symptoms
- Whether the fix is software work or a physical replacement part
- Part cost and availability for your exact make and model
- How much disassembly the machine requires
- Whether your files need protecting or moving before work begins
- Whether pickup or drop-off is being arranged
What you can count on
- Estimates are free. Finding out what is wrong costs nothing.
- No surprise work. Nothing beyond the diagnosis happens until you approve it.
- Price before repair. If something changes mid-job, you hear about it first.
- Honest 'don't bother'. If a machine is not worth repairing, Nick will say so.
